my thing with myles....i like his low to mid/upper range....but when his voice cracks he gets into this nasally, high-pitched whine ...it may be in tune but it sounds like ass
track 2 sucks bigtime on A.L. and to make it worse myles is super high in the mix to a point of drowning out the rest of the band
in fact IMO the mix on this album is pretty spotty throughout
Track #3 - Standing in the Sun is pretty f'n awesome though

Yeah...when I got the album I wasn't big on the first two songs....sort of a whining voice on track 2 - it's a little annoying - however then I saw footage of the song live and learn't the words - and now strangely they've grown on me and I like them as well.
Now I full on like every track. It's rare for me too.
I hear ya about the odd mixing though...mix is so crucial to things as well.

OK - gave some of it a listen again on the way to work. Not sure of song names, but I enjoyed 3, 4, and 5. I skipped ahead to Anastasia and enjoyed it as well. Either I was better able to tune out Myles or I'm getting more used to him.

No More Heroes has to be my favorite song on the album. One Last Thrill, You're A Lie, and a few others are up there too!
