Re: Bravewords 17 minute Video Interview with Slash
He's definitely over talking about Guns. He started to get a bit snakey when they were trying to ask him about the AFD 25th anniversary - he thought it was some other GNR question coming. Can't say I blame him though.
So another album with Myles next year by the sounds of things. Great that we are getting more material, although I also feel it's somewhat of a missed opportunity. Myles just doesn't fit quite right on enough of the material for my liking. But I'll take it over nothing.

Yes. More new music, not a bad thing. I want a lil more rawness like "watch this" bit with vocals.
Re: Bravewords 17 minute Video Interview with Slash
Watch This was great but also disappointing. I would have loved to have heard vocals from Grohl on that, it would have taken it to a whole other level. I still don't really understand his reason for not singing on it, he said something about being burnt doing this sort of thing before and how it finished up or something?
Re: Bravewords 17 minute Video Interview with Slash
He will have to talk about Guns for the rest of his life, rather he likes it or not. Just as Axl will always be asked questions about old GNR. That's just something they will have to accept because it's not going to stop.
Reporters know that will get attention for their piece.

Re: Bravewords 17 minute Video Interview with Slash
I'm sorry but I'll never understand why VR a 24/7 commitment that requires Myles to leave Alterbridge...but recording 2 albums and going on tour with slash for 2 years isn't.
If Slash can schedule around AB why couldn't duff and matt too?
I like how he says it's easy to trade ideas with myles and write songs in the same sentence as how VR would be a full time. Seems there was a lot of stress writing in VR - slash makes these throw away references all the time to how "easy" life is in his own band.
Also interesting the way the interviewer brought up that he only wanted to talk about AFD in relation to the anniversary...he'd clearly been instructed not to bring up GNR at all.
