On the way to work this morning, I heard Adler's The One You Hate (or whatever it's called) on what I think was Ozzy's Boneyard.  I've never heard a single song from CD on any Sirius station.  Not a big deal, just an observation...maybe they play CD all the time or played it all the time when it was released (I didn't have Sirius at that time) and I just missed it.

I just did a road trip to Austin, Texas, from Chicago, and I listened to Boneyard and Hair Nation A LOT. Never heard any new GNR. Old, yes, a lot.

I really like that Adler song. I can see why it gets played--even if it is rare.

I was flipping through the stations and liked what I heard, so I kept listening.  I didn't find out who it was until I hit the text button to see what it was.  I was surprised to say the least - not that I liked it, but that it was even being played.

They played CD songs a fair amount when the album came out for a few weeks.  I heard CD, Better, TWAT, Sorry, IRS, Shackler's, Scraped.  CD and Better were played for longer than the others.  Eddie Trunk has a show on Hair Nation on Monday nights and he'll occasionally play tracks off of CD.  Usually only when Bumblefoot is a guest though, or they're talking about current GNR.  But yes, CD songs are played on Sirius.  It's rare, but it does happen.  Trunk plays a large variety of music and he's played a LOT more new Slash tunes over the years than CD, which is no surprise since he's openly said he prefers Slash's work outside of Guns to any post AFD GNR.

I never ever heard Better on the radio once. Never.

I only heard Chinese Democracy the day the single was released, and only long enough to hear all of the DJ's shit all over it, say it sucks, and literally refuse to play it... and that was it. I never heard it past the first week of it's release.

I've heard tons of Slash's stuff, none of Duff's & Adler's. But that Adler single is awesome. Still love it. VERY accessible, and very easy to push. Axl needs DJ to work him something like that on the next record.

Adler has another VERY catchy ballad (Waterfall ?) waiting in the wings that have yet to be released. That one will probably be even catchier.
