See, I'm more of an overall song guy with an emphasis on vocals. So that's probably why Standing In The Sun appeals to me more. But I do love Slash's playing and the tone he sets on that song. And to be fair, I think Myles is quite fine on Anastasia too.
I hear songs that way too. But Anastasia one case where the vocals didn't have to be supreme it was that good.
But 99.9998% of the time, I hear vocals and melody first and then go "this is good" or "this sucks, next"
