Re: Slash, Zakk, Gus G, Ozzy Paranoid
EPIC!!! Amazing performance! Ozzy sounded pretty good. Zakk showed he is the man on that song with the badass stances. Slash was good and so was Gus. I like Gus's guitar work live and he did great on some of the songs on the latest Ozzy album. Took me awhile to get used to his tone. Geezer is amazing as always on bass. Tommy was pounding those drums!

I think I like the 2002 Budokan performance of it too. Had some great Zakk & Ozzy moments in the live footage and mix.

Re: Slash, Zakk, Gus G, Ozzy Paranoid
I'm a big fan of Ozzy's earlier solo work (well, up until No More Tears), but god damn, his voice is shot, he sounds terrible here!
Cool to have Slash and Zakk up on stage together again, but I wish they'd delve into more interesting songs, rather than the obvious Paranoid.
I wish Zakk would bust out some stuff from No Rest For The Wicked, like Miracle Man etc

Re: Slash, Zakk, Gus G, Ozzy Paranoid
haha..Nice! I remember watching alot of the live footage on Youtube and it alot of great Zakk shredding. Rob is a great bass player too. Wish he was on a few more albums before he joined Metallica; but I love Blasko's work; so i'm happy with what it is for the time being. I thought Ozzy's band played well during the Blizzcon 2009 performance with the introduction to Gus G. Then the reincarnation of Randy Rhoads steps on stage as a Japanese kid and Ozzy just bows down to the guy! I'm like holy shit! I think it brought back some fond memories for him. I do agree the prince of darkness's voice isn't what it used to be; but it sounds alot better than it was a few years ago since he has been clean, sober, and staying in shape for awhile now!
