Re: Slash promo for Apocalyptic Love
Slash is set to appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon tomorrow. I'm sure there'll be more appearances but that's a starting point I'd say.
I've got it set to tape. Though since I apparently don't support Slash, I question as to why I even bother. Dah well! I'll tape it anyway and give it a viewing. How crazy.
Re: Slash promo for Apocalyptic Love
Honestly, I enjoy Chinese Democracy more than anything Slash has been a part of post Guns, so I would spend more on a GNR CD, yes. Although, VR was close and as I said before I bought the deluxe edition of Libertad. But honestly, $10 is my standard tipping point for ALL CD's. I'm not making an exception just because it's Slash, or because I haven't liked what I've heard, or anything like that. I can't remember what Chinese Democracy was priced its debut week. It may have been $12.99. So for that, I went over my self imposed limit. I also bought Pearl Jam's "Backspacer" for $12.99, BUT that included the download of 2 full concerts of theirs. So that was basically 3 CD's worth. Aside from those 2, I haven't gone above the $10 mark. That was my basic point. It wasn't a knock on Slash at all.
Oh, and Slash will be on with Eddie Trunk tonight. I believe with the band, so maybe they'll do a performance, though that's rare on Eddie's show. I'll try and tape the show and pass along any interesting info that may be shared.

9.99 is what it will probably start out at.
Re: Slash promo for Apocalyptic Love
Just noticed this e-mail in my inbox. Slash is a damn good promoter. Tireless I tell you. Hats off, pardon the pun.
