ok so my computer is doing somethign weird
if i reboot it both my harddrives fail....however if i shut it down and boot it back up everythign is fine
I thought it might be BIOS so i flashed it....but it still doing it...ive never seen this before...any ideas?

I've actually been having a similar problem since I came back after Christmas. Sometimes my computer likes to boot, other times it gets stuck trying to locate the hard drives. It solves itself if I enter the boot screen and make no changes or if I manually reboot a couple of times. I'm thinking it's a motherboard issue (computer's almost five years old, and motherboards generally go first), but I know dick about hardware problems.

Sure... my computer is wonky so I'll get one that is incompatible with 85% of everything else.
yeah since i'm a draftsman it'll be good to have a computer that can't run AutoCAD 
I'll be able to make home movies easily though....my boss will like that
