I know this doesn't have anything to do with the actual vinyl (which I believe is a richer, deeper sounds than CD), but one of the things that always pissed me off about Crue's "Theater of Pain" album is that they had such a fantastic tone, feel and sound during that period and wasted it with alot of the lazy ass, "should've never made the record" i'm too busy getting drunk, doing lines, and fucking skanks, weak ass stuff on that record. Girls, Girls, Girls too.

What a fucking wasted period in their prime. Such a great sound, and great period for them to be kings of rock and they blew it on shit material.

Van Halen knew what they were doing and what the audience wanted. Thus the reason you got 84 & 5150.

And see that's the issue with Crue. Other than Shout At The Devil, Dr. Feelgood & Crue '94... they are nothing but a single/hits band.
