Re: Updates: Orlando, FL (Amway Center 10-28-11)
You guys are missing the whole point. If the show sucked, it wouldn't have been as bad as his enotional response would have you believe (see rio thread). The emotional response is very real. It works both ways. It has nothing to do with the fact that it was a positive response.

that's really unfair what you're accusing axlin off
not saying some people aren't guilty of such reactions, i just don't think i've witnessed axlin behaving in such a manner - which is why i believe it was a really good show he got (& he did highlight a fair few errors as well). he's always been able to separate the wheat from the chaff before so why should his positive experience be any less true than when he talks about the bad stuff? why did you not bag on his emotional response to other stuff? or is it just happy concert's that wind you up?
& it's much easier to believe in a bad gnr gig than a good one, for some
Re: Updates: Orlando, FL (Amway Center 10-28-11)
A forum member who calls shit down the middle goes to a GN'R show and loves it; not possible. Axl does an hour interview with That Metal Show; not good enough. The first two crowds have loved the show; lies. Duff is opening some shows; awful idea.
What the fuck??
i think there is genuinely basis & room for debate on the TMS interview & the Loaded thing. but the reaction to axlin's reaction of the gig however was absurd. but all the more entertaining for it - can't really care too much about the other, more important, stuff when this axlin controversy is so damn funny.
one interview w/some gnr nutswinger isn't good enough tbpfh. it's a couple of steps up from a del interview. i might be wrong but i suspect they'll ask axl some slightly uncomfortable questions, he'll give BS answers & won't be challenged on them, like a del interview..
the loaded thing is just weird. i can't get my head round all the connotations. but i really don't think it's ever going to happen. there's too much brouhaha surrounding reunion vs the current line-up(s) for it to ever come to pass. i think i'll deal with it closer to the time.
Re: Updates: Orlando, FL (Amway Center 10-28-11)
How some reacted to Axlins review is shameful and a disgrace to the quality of this board.
lol
fucking hell mate
it's not that bad. it's exactly what i expect from this board.
the same characters displaying the same characteristics from the moment i started on here.
Re: Updates: Orlando, FL (Amway Center 10-28-11)
Buzz Axlins emotional reaction is part of his experience of the music. You cannot separate one from the other, only hypothesize what it might be like without his emotional reaction. And frankly that is juts plain stupid. Music is all about emotional reaction.
What you're doing is like trying to separate water from wet. Get over it. He loved it so what.

then the small handful of people that feel the need to spoil all the fun when something positive happens could go there instead of continuously hijacking and ruining perfectly good threads.
buzz, you could write your "objective" and "non emotional" review of the show you didnt watch in the orlando thread of this section.
and axlin, you and your tears of joy will need to keep your ball sack licking fan boy self out of this section and carry on with your coming to jesus here.
by the way, axlin all the vids ive seen support your review of the show imo.
ALL of this.
I've said this before and I'll say it again; I'm not for turning this place into HTGTH2.0 but god damnit if people can't just be positive for once.

Something is wrong when people are coming out of the wood work to post things like "this is why I don't post here anymore" or I'm getting PMs about how negative the place is.
My first reaction to these negative sad little douchbags, is to ignore them. But it gets kinda hard when they hijack almost every fuckin' thread. Even hitting the "ignore button" doesn't really work, you still see their posts when others quote them.
I may have posted this before. But Joe Rogan fuckin' nailed it regarding negative people on the internet. Especially the part 03:52 - 05:24
