Re: DRAG ME TO HELL: Sam Raimi's Return to Horror
i saw this yesterday...there were a couple gross parts, a couple parts that make ya jump, but mostly the effects are not believeable and somewhere along the lines it turns to a cheese action flick
and the script was terrible
Re: DRAG ME TO HELL: Sam Raimi's Return to Horror
Sam Raimi is one of the most vastly OVERrated horror guys in history.
Frankly, The Evil Dead movies aren't that good, and his biggest success story is the Spider-Man franchise, which even Joel Schumacher could've done and made a success.
The guy is okay, but there are better guys out there imo.

oh no you don't.
consider yourself warned
I don't really have high hopes for it. Also, like axlin08 said, he's way overrated. Not much good horror lately, so its worth a look.

I thought it was one of the worst movies of the year, stay away at all costs. Whoever wrote the script needs to be shot with a ball of his own shit.

Interesting....I kinda enjoyed it...but then I guess I'm not a hardcore horror buff. Wasn't too thrilled with the ending...though.

Re: DRAG ME TO HELL: Sam Raimi's Return to Horror
This threads a little old, but I'm gonna throw in my 2 cents. It may not have been the best movie, but if you're a Raimi fan, it's pretty good. If this had come out a year or two after "Army of Darkness," everyone would have loved it. There's no arguing that this movie was classic Raimi.

Did you ever watch this James?
I saw it in theaters, and it was by far the loudest movie I've ever been to. It was a horrible movie. It wasn't scary whatsoever and the plot didn't really flow that well.
By the end we were laughing at this movie.
