CHAPARRAL, N.M. '” Getting a tattoo can be a painful proposition, but usually it's just the needle you have to worry about.
Two men trying to trace a loaded .357-caliber Magnum as a pattern for a tattoo accidentally shot themselves, the Otero County Sheriff's Department said Monday.
Robert Glasser and Joey Acosta, both 22, were treated at a hospital in El Paso, Texas, after the shooting Thursday evening in nearby Chaparral.
Authorities said Glasser was struck in the hand when the gun accidentally went off, and Acosta was hit in the left arm. Their injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.

LOL, that is hilarious. I guess it never occured to these idiots that you can unload the gun before using it for a pattern...it wouldn't compromise the integrity of the art, morons indeed.

Two Rocket Scientists where I live tattooed a radio station logo on their foreheads a couple years ago. That was a pretty fun story

You read that and sorta feel sorry for them, but...
The really funny thing is, that their claims were bullshit and the radio station had tapes that proved it.

A buddy of mine works for that radio station and told me he talked to the tattoo guy. He told him that he spent at least 10 minutes trying to talk these guys out of it before he did the ink.
The funniest part of the whole story, that radio station changed formats about 6 months later.

This recent one in Oz of a footy fan getting a couple of tattoo's of his favourite team is a classic - the article in the link has further links to the pics but read the article as well.
