Re: Who do you want as the opening act?
no My Michelle or Out Ta Get Me or a few other afd tracks for that matter.
They should be allowed.
But only if they follow my strict pipedream setlist...
Re: Who do you want as the opening act?
Baz is playing shows with Alice Cooper in Finland in December, so he won't be opening in Asia. Could be a warmup for him though, for Canada.
Haven't bought my tick yet and if I learn Baz opens it could literally mean me avoiding this tour altogether.

Man i loved Baz as an opening act. I was just grumpy suciede girls didn't come to australia
Re: Who do you want as the opening act?
I didn't get to see Baz's set at MSG. I caught the end of Papa Roach. They were good. I was prepared for GNR to hit the stage late, though they were right on time that night. But the opening band would have to be pretty damn special for me to go see with the chances being pretty high of waiting for GNR for HOURS afterwards.
Re: Who do you want as the opening act?
M.I.A. has no chance and nobody wants to see her, but Mix Master Mike and the Suicide Girls are "A-OK".....
I never said those were good choices either, in fact in your previous post you quoted me saying they weren't good choices.
I am just saying that whilst it would generate quite a bit of buzz it would not go down well with a lot of the hard rock crowd who'd go to see GNR. And a lot of M.I.A. fans would probably leave before GNR came on.
Now if we're looking for bands to open for GNR, that tick every criteria box I think the main ones have already been said in this thread:
Alice In Chains, Faith No More, Shinedown, Buckcherry and I'd say if Avenged Sevenfold are wanting to do anything in January another spot opening for GNR would be a great idea and there would be no personality clash there at all.
