You don't have to take any time off work - the show won't start until at least 11 and it will be done before you have to be at work the next day. Save your vacation time for something else.
i'll be a bag of shit the next day so i'd at least have to take off the following day
Thats the game, book the day off so you can party hearty. Even better, go with the buddy option and make one of them the designated driver and get the whisky in!

I'm pretty much planning on staying in London at least the night of the concert and possibly the night before, we'll see. But either way, I'll have other people driving so the drink intake can be hefty.
