Re: Rapidfire Recordings for sale (5 Unreleased Axl Demos from 1983)
I have no interest.
You're preaching to my choir.....
If it isn't Axl related material from 1999-2009, it means nothing to me.
This guy should have unloaded this crap years ago.
The two guys in the middle of both pictures look like they are some sort of bottom-feeding mouth breathers.
Re: Rapidfire Recordings for sale (5 Unreleased Axl Demos from 1983)
I liked "Just Another Sunday" and "Shadow of Your Love". Though I'm not sure the latter is considered a demo, though I consider it one. But didn't it appear as a b side on one of their early singles?
"Bring It Back Home" has its moments for me too. But other than for historical reasons, I could care less about these Rapidfire recordings.
Re: Rapidfire Recordings for sale (5 Unreleased Axl Demos from 1983)
The only GnR demo I ever liked was Crash Diet, so yeah joining the rest of you on this, they have historical interest at best, but probably sound like monkey-kack.
I bet they sound better than the UYI demos we have.
Aren't the UYI demos we have copies of copies? This guy is cashing in on his original multitrack masters.
Even if it was home done, etc... I bet it's better than Shannon Hoon's cassette of 'Don't Cry' he got back in Indiana in the 80's .
Re: Rapidfire Recordings for sale (5 Unreleased Axl Demos from 1983)
Too Much Too Soon and Just Another Sunday would have been cool Axl solo album cuts.
I think theyy would have been a better cut than Get In The Ring....
Does anyone know if those were Izzy songs or Slash songs or Axl songs, what were they?

Crash Diet had potential to be a killer track...
The rest... I know why they were cutting room floor. You want to see some tracks that make My World look like Welcome To The Jungle? See GN'R demos.
lmao.
