Re: Message to GNR fans asking about tour plans (from Ron):
Its like he is stuck between a rock and a hard place, mabye he just felt he had to give some responce if lotsa people have been emailing him. Reading between the lines, I'd say shits gonna go down.
"When GNR management is able to confirm anything, they will do it, in the way they feel is best"
By saying nothing if their track record is anything to go by
Re: Message to GNR fans asking about tour plans (from Ron):
He posted on Twitter that he is in Los Angeles again, so every forum junkie probably sent him an email. I don't think his statement warrants criticism as he's obviously just trying to prevent getting his mail box flooded.
He should take it as a compliment though. The other members don't get bombarded with messages because no one really cares what they have to say.

Re: Message to GNR fans asking about tour plans (from Ron):
Did anyone ask if he'd ever met Axl?
Re: Message to GNR fans asking about tour plans (from Ron):
how did we get dates back in 06?
can anyone remember?
was it an official announcement from gnr that they are going on tour and here are the dates, or were we informing ourselves by crawling on the net?
how did it happen then?

He toured with GNR in 06 and 07. Not a shocker if they met at some point during that time frame.
I really hope people don't bother him with shit like that.

Good questions. I don't remember.
Re: Message to GNR fans asking about tour plans (from Ron):

Both.
It all started back in late 2005 and SHIT GOT REAL when Axl spoke up at the Korn launch party in early 2006 saying that they were planning shows in Europe.
This was during the leak craze too.
Sure, there's more to the story and I'll gladly talk about it but I don't want to hijack the thread.
Re: Message to GNR fans asking about tour plans (from Ron):
We didnt even know who Buckets replacement was until he set foot on stage lol, Axl never even announced it on the Eddie Trunk show.
The UK leg of the European tour first appeared in the newspapers before the dates were added to the official site. In the same vein as the Japanese shows are being advertised now. I got about 10 texts that morning, good times They were already adverised as headliners at Download by that time, this meant I wouldnt have to travel down south to the festival to see them and was quite unexpected.
