Re: Now on sale for $7.99 at Best Buy

Damn, that's cold...
It was supposed to be funny, but there's obviously some truth to it if Best Buy is in the process of no longer selling cds while sitting on hundreds of thousands of copies of Chinese Democracy.
They may have to quickly roll out a "buy 1, get 10 free" promo.....

Re: Now on sale for $7.99 at Best Buy
Not really, it's just the pipe dream that supporters use as an excuse for the failure of the album. Keep in mind that CD broke all kinds of records for streaming at myspace. People heard the album, they just didn't like it. Make all the excuses you want, it doesn't change the reality of it.

Wal-Mart exclusive = CD has a totally different legacy.
Epic fail w/ BB.
Highly likely, this scenario.
This album was never destined to be a hit.
While I think the album would've done better with Wal Mart I don't think it'd be as successful as say ACDC if the band took their same silent stance.
I don't see how you could argue the album wouldn't have sold better at Wal Mart though. That's pretty self explanatory.
