Ok, so maybe it's not very popular to say anything anti-Xmas but being GNR fans we usually aren't too worried about conventional mores and ideas so....do we really give a f*#K about doing the popular thing?? I didn't think so. With that spirit in mind what do you fellow Scrooges hate about Xmas?
My top three:
1. The crowds. They are rude, obnoxius and ill-mannered! (well, all of them except for me anyway 
)
2. The commercialism. "Season of love"....my ASS. Season of maxing out credit cards!
3. Having to pretend you like the assholes you MUST associate with on a regular basis. If I don't like you 364 other days of the year chances are pretty good I don't like you now. 
....humbug!

I love everything about Xmas I was planning to make a Xmas themed skin for the site and include some cheesy "falling snow" effect on the homepage. Time has got the better of me though I'm afraid, I'll have to save that little treat for next Christmas much to the delight of DTJ and james I'm sure

I love everything about Xmas
i did that last year on the (now on hiatus) Robin Finck board. Everyone loved that skin.
one thing I like about Christmas, you get in contact with people you lose touch with. I just got a christmas card from one of my college buddies I haven't heard from in 2 years, it totally made my day!

i have alot of family so i hate driving...everyone should just come see me....but Kids make it better IMO....before my first daughter was born Xmas was starting to suck...now its fun to watch her go apeshit
i think i know what you mean. i dont have any kids and all my family lives in other places, so its hard to get excited about the holidays realy. all it means for me is the weather is colder, the banks are fucking closed, and i spent too much money on gifts.

I'm not a big fan of Christmas. To me, its a kids holiday. There's nothing better in the world than the Christmas season when you're a kid. When you're an adult its just not the same.
Since my partying days are pretty much over, I don't like New Year's Eve either.
