Re: The Positive CD Thread
Once more; that solo just blows my mind.
Agreed.
I've always loved Robin and I'll certainly continue to do so.
There's nothing quite like him and Buckethead trading off each other. They had the most amazing chemistry when playing/writing/whatever together even though the rumours suggested that they didn't get along.

Re: The Positive CD Thread
I don't think that they had any chemistry.
Back on topic: I love TWAT, it's one of my favourite songs ever. CD's great, too, with the magnificent BH solo and the awesome BBF rhythm guitar. Axl's really great on TIL, I also dig the piano and orchestration. Scraped is very energic and maybe I'm the only one, but I like IRS.

Robin & Bucket with chemistry?
Yes?
Oh, some have a problem with that opinion. What a surprise.

Re: The Positive CD Thread
The guitar parts on the album definately have chemestry together I think, weather that's a function of Robin+ Bucket per say or Axl's re-arranging and the protools editor is open to speculation given a number of people seem to have suggested they played a lot of things then someone else cooked it into a final version (see Ron's recent interview, and more bluntly in the stories of Brian May, and Axl's chats).
Anyway...whoever is responsible...they work well.....especially the solo in Chinese Democracy....when it goes from Robin to Bucket like that...it's a great change over......but there's others too....not sure who's playing what on If the World...but those guitars all link nicely together in the end too....
