Re: Frank played with Tool last night

pretty cool in my opinion and he played on my favorite song Lateralus. From reading the Tool board, it sounded like he kicked ass.

"Before drum duel on Lateralus:

"Let the drumsterbation begin!"

When the solo was done and Maynard ran back on in underwear, ran out and rubbed guest drummers bald head in a congratulatory way, it was kind of sweet. He started to walk off after Lateralus without striking the drums to which Maynard said:

"Hey take your fucking drums with you. This ain't no fucking storage space."

Also the guys name was Frank something (sorry didn't catch it) and as he left he said:

"I was actually expecting Frank Sinatra, but you were all right" or something to that effect. " 19

obviously the connection there is Pitman.

multiple posters said he did very well....and the song he played on is absolutely badass live. I saw the Tool show Monday in Hotlanta and it rocked HARD. They are the definition of a rock solid 4 piece, and the light show and visuals are stunning. 9

It would be nice if one day all these members of Guns N' Roses could actually jam and play some music with Guns N' Roses...

more like the definition of a band who's lost all sense of purpose.  I thought these guys had some values, why tour with the same set as 2 years ago for an album from three years ago, then charge 75 bucks and up for floor tickets...

Yeah you can't hear them all that well.  Frank goes nuts at the end though.  He plays with some passion, gotta give him that.
