Some of the other categories include
Best New Band, Album Of The Year, Band Of The Year, Reissue of The Year, DVD/Film of the Year and Event Of The Year. All releases are for the period August 08 – June 09: a period that saw major releases from some of the world of rock's biggest artists, as well as inspiring new releases from some new faces.

I think it was third on the album of the year list 2008, just a few months ago and album of the year in 2007 
.
Although I think that was in the critic votes, it'll be interesting what the fans/subscribers vote for.

It's been a great couple of years for rock too....like Black Ice, Death Magnetic and Chinese Democracy!
