What does your ultimate Chinese Democracy sound like?
I actually had a hard time going to sleep last night because I was thinking over and over how much better the record would've sounded (no offense to Bumblefoot and Frank) if some of the songs would have been denied further contributions from anyone.
And it just got to me... Why not create your own tracklist now that the album is finally out? It's not like we don't have the leaks anymore.
Here goes:

That to me is probably closer to what the "original" 2002 record would have sounded like if those were the songs. But at the same time I doubt that this is the tracklist we would have gotten if it was released back then.

The skwerl leaks are better than the album, and I would have preferred those leaks be released even if it meant less tracks.
My Chinese Democracy would be the skwerl leaks, Sorry, 99 CITR, that first Better leak in 06, and as a bonus the title track with Ron on it.

the album itself is good enough for me, if thats the way the band wanted it released then thats gotta be the way it is 
remember that band Bush from the 90's? the released Razorblade Suitcase then they did a remixed album called Deconstructed a year later
maybe GnR will go that route? i wouldnt mind hearing some alt mixes in a truely mastered form, but none of the leaks can compete with the final mixes imo
