Re: What did Axl consider to be "Big Guns"
Axl's favourites in 2006 were TWAT, Better and The Blues, although the latter was played when he said we hadn't heard the big guns. Prostitute wasn't hyped by any band member as far as I know, but Brain mentioned The General several times and Dizzy's favourite was Scraped (Lies They Tell, how he named it).
Re: What did Axl consider to be "Big Guns"
He was lying again. The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
He said that CD, Blues, Madagascar, Rhiad, Silkworms, were B-Sides, and wouldn't be on the album.
Did anyone really believe him?
If he hadn't of hyped this album for so long it owuldn't have bitten him in the ass so hard.

Re: What did Axl consider to be "Big Guns"
Is that a lie or a change of plan though? a lot of things changed between when he said that and when the album was released. If bucket had remained with the band, and dynamics had worked better, they may have recorded countless new songs and that stuff may have been B sides. But it didn't go that way.

Dizzy said "We Were lying"
Big guns should be The General, This I Love, Prostitute, Atlas
Re: What did Axl consider to be "Big Guns"
I don't remember Axl even mentioning the word "Prostitute" before the albums release. I think most of that hype for that song was created by fans starting rumours.
