it was just a vague mention by a lady who definitely has a lot of scoop and lives on the west coast...I think she is a writer. Sorelle Saidman was in the thread as well. Wasn't she suppose to do a book on Axl?
I keep hearing that it didn't work out with Ashba (for some reason).

If GN'R are going through a transition period, again, for Axl to keep on with this ridiculous train that has become the new band, it wouldn't be shocking at all.
Weren't guys like Dave Navarro & Zakk Wylde in GN'R at some point, but they were "blink and you'll miss it"?
The only thing shocking, IF Ashba is gone, is that they jumped the gun on his announcement. Should've waited to see if he gelled first, then announced, unless they were feeling pressure from elsewhere after being so absurdly silent during CD's release and offers were drying up with a MIA and not coming back guitarist (Robin).
