Re: The great unofficial GnRevolution meetup!!!
I love living in Vegas
Hey Pasnow, you left yesterday right? today was BEAUTIFUL. clear skies, high of about 70. His first day here was the first rainy day we had since August and it was COLD and windy.
Re: The great unofficial GnRevolution meetup!!!
Yeah, I left Monday. The flight was at 3pm so I was able to do a few things until around noon & enjoy the weather. It was really nice & warm, so I walked up for a few final pictures of the casino's & the strip. Guess it was a bit of a cold front while I was there. The rain did seem out of place, and it wasn't just a light, quick desert rain either. It was an all day heavy rain. Ugghhhh..
Re: The great unofficial GnRevolution meetup!!!
All this talk of Vegas...I haven't been back there in almost 4 years now and I'm really feeling the itch to go (watching episodes of CSI doesn't help either.)
You definitely got some good advice there, PASnow. I usually make it a point to talk to the locals when I'm there to find out what's going on. Especially if you plan to hit any clubs, it's better to ask people which place is most happening on a certain night than to just randomly pick a club.
There's so much to do out there that you can easily spend a week on the Strip. For a second trip though, I'd say make sure you get downtown at some point. Another thing I suggest is renting a car if possible. It makes it much easier to get around from casino to casino, and there are also some interesting things to see if you take a drive out of the city.
Next time I'm out there, I'll definitely give JB a holler. And if any of you find yourselves in Tokyo, drop me a line. I'm not gonna hold my breath on anyone coming out here though.

Same here, if any of you guys happen to be in Dundee, Scotland let me know
The only GNR fans I've met in person were Jarmo, Christos and Adz. They were all pretty sound though
wahey for Dundee! I used to live in (and my parents are still there) Cupar! mAy give you a bell next time I'm about up there.
Same goes for anyone visiting London, UK - drop me a PM anytime if you're visiting or planning a trip. I've met a few board peeps, all from HTGTH at various gigs - and we've always had a good time!
