Before joining Guns N’ Roses, DJ Ashba teamed up with Nikki Sixx and James Michael to create the mega-hit band Sixx:A.M. Their album, entitled The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack, featured the No. 1 hit song "Life Is Beautiful." DJ went on tour with Sixx:A.M. to support the Crüe Fest 2008 Tour. He also co-produced and co-wrote Mötley Crüe’s Saints of Los Angeles album, which was nominated for a Grammy. On March 21, Ashba was officially appointed the new Guns N' Roses guitarist, replacing Robin Finck.
"DJ's a gifted, energetic guitarist that Guns N' Roses is proud to have on board," said Axl Rose in a recent interview. "We're very excited to have the opportunity to work together. Guns' radar has silently been aware of DJ's presence for quite some time. He brings a fresh approach to our particular brand of mayhem, expanding the tapestry of Guns N' Roses live. Once DJ's name was in the hat, the hat disappeared."
DJ Ashba is a very creative mind. He owns two corporations, Ashba Media, Inc., which handles the art side of things, and Ashbaland, Inc., which handles the music side of things. Based on his beloved Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop, DJ shows his fans how to customize a guitar in 11 easy steps.

For me the stiches are cool, but the skull is too much....but I'd like one just with the stiching ala frankenstein...lol....i think it suits DJ though.
