To me, when Sorum says Axl shouldn't use the name its like a fan saying he shouldn't use the name. They really have no place to say what a founding member should or shouldn't do with their band.
Well for once I partially agree with what Asshole Sorum erm Matt has to say. But to say that Izzy is PROBABLY a core memeber. That is just ignorant. But I agree that Axl should've dropped the name GNR. I still view CD as an Axl Rose record and always will.

Yeah he's right, but I prefer whatever material Axl has been apart of to almost everything the other guys have done.
Totally agree. I do like Izzy's work, but it's still not better than CD, and the others work doesn't come even close.
In reality, we all know it's an Axl Rose solo record, and that's it's really Axl solo, but at this point, it's such a dead horse, that even mentioning it is kind of just restating the obvious.
Oh, and Mr. Sorum should be a little careful, just as a recommendation. VR is dead, GN'R reunion ain't gonna happen, but I still wouldn't burn bridges. I'm sure Axl wouldn't mind at all giving that reunion slice one day to Frank Ferrer.

In Matts defense when he speaks about Izzy I think he may be referring to what a true “GnR Tour” needs. In the way he later refers to The Beatles, The Police, Zep.. A true GnR Tour should have Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy, and Steven but he’s too messed up on drugs so we’ll settle for this douchebag*. But if Izzy wouldn’t want to tour I agree Gilby or possibly someone else could be acceptable.

That is funny. Well heres how I look at it. If Steven Adler didn't have the problem he had during the recordings of Illusion I & II there wouldn't of been any need for Matt. That's a bold statement coming from Matt. Matt you are a good drummer but you really are a 'work for hire' drummer. lolo
