The last time i was on a plane the weather was so bad the plane got blown off course and we ended up landing in a field beside the runway

Great news. There's a rumor making it's way that GN'R have dates to be announced soon and they will play shows in July/August, but we'll see.
Anyhow, here's how I think they should do this...
Right now: Announce a 15-date tour of the US for late June
Late June through July: Play shows in LA, Frisco, Seattle, NYC, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Las Vegas, Detroit, Mexico City, Denver, Vancouver, and Miami.
July: announce South American leg for September
September: VMA show then off to Chile, Argentina, and Brazil!

Last time I checked, they didn't sell out anything other than NY last time they toured - and that was with giving tickets away and closing off major sections of seating.

When was the last time you checked? NYC was sold out, as was Vegas, Frisco, LA, and a few others I can't remember. I think The Meadowlands in Jersey was sold out.

First night in LA was definitely sold out. I know Frisco was since they played at The Warfield. The reason that list of dates I have posted would likely sell out is because the shows aren't being spread everywhere in each region. You put shows in key areas, it forces people to go to the specific venue.
What's more likely to sellout- a show in Frisco or three shows in Sac, Fresno, and Bakersfield?

No show in Bakersfield or Fresno will sell out, Sac I'm not sure. Arco holds about 19,000, Frisco will absolutely sell out. The Warfield is a perfect venue for Guns.
