I missed the last round, but I want to say, Nirvana's Unplugged performance is way over-rated. It's not really that good. AIC on Unplugged totally blows them out of the water.

Agreed.  The main thing that separated the two performances was the emotion being put behind the music.  Layne really delivered everything brilliantly.  There's a lot of emotion behind what he sang, especially Nutshell.  You could really believe that he felt everything he was singing.
