I thought he was going to shoot it like he did Death Proof, or at least Kill Bill, like an exploitation film.
It looks like he's taking a sort of serious approach... Or as serious as Tanartino can be.
And he shot this movie pretty fucking fast.

I'll be interested to check this out. You have to be in the mood for QT movies, and sure, he rips off a lot of stuff from other cinema, but its much like the use of sampling in rap, he takes things and puts his own spin on them, whatever he is, he is good at what he does, and makes a film that movie nerds like me can enjoy as a rule....I worry that the bloodlust and torture porn fetishes will have gone to new extremes on this movie...but aside from that...I expect it will still be a pretty good watch.
