Ok cool - it must be the same release "date" then.

When are you off to see it tejastech08?

I am not seeing it until Saturday. I refuse to watch it for the first time on anything other than IMAX. There is not an IMAX theater within a 6 hour drive of the town I'm currently in. So I'm flying to Houston (my parents live there) on Friday night (tomorrow night) and seeing the movie in IMAX with my family on Saturday afternoon.

Man I would imagine it will look amazing in IMAX!  Worth waiting!

No doubt you will give us a review afterwards?

Yeah but it won't be until probably Tuesday. I am not flying back until late Sunday night. Going fishing with my dad on Sunday. He got a new boat recently and I haven't been fishing in a long time so it should be a great weekend. Anyway, on Monday I'm going to see TDK at the local theater with $8 of free movie cash that I got from Hot Topic when I bought 2 TDK shirts. So that will get me down to needing 8 more viewings to reach my goal of 10. I saw Batman Begins 6 times in the theater and I'm determined to see this one at least 10 times. 16

But definitely, I'll give a review. I'm not really the long-winded type when it comes to reviews. I usually am the type to go over really general stuff like the acting, cinematography, music, etc. I'm expecting nothing less than similar quality to Batman Begins. 9

Less than three hours now.

This is selling pretty well here.  They actually opened another screen to make more room.

Just saw it. Fucking incredible Movie. I won't spoil anything, all I'll say is this is the most pumped I've ever been for a movie - and it surpassed my expectations. Oscars all around!

Eckhart was fantastic!!! And Ledger proved to be the best Joker ever imo.

Give more details than that. Use a few spoiler tags. I'm gonna watch Batman Begins tomorrow night(yeah, seriously this time), and wont be watching this for at least a few more days.

Wouldn't mind a bit more detail from you(or someone else here) that just watched it.

Well, as it's 3:20 in the morning, I'm going to sleep on it. Rest assured, I'll give a review tomorrow, although I expect someone else to have given a better summary of events and themes than I could.

Just walked in from seeing it, it was the best movie I've seen in years and it definitely lived up to the hype. Ledger was an amazing Joker, terrifying and hilarious at the same time. It was very long but still a solid movie, I was afraid to miss a minute of it. This is the movie of the year, ah hell, movie of the decade I should say! 9 3

I just got back as well - holy shit..it was awesome. Definitely lived up to the hype and then some. Ledger was just unreal as the Joker - I smell a posthumous Oscar for him after seeing it.

Go. See. It. Now.
