I bought Gotham Knight today and plan on watching it with some friends in the next couple days. Should be enough to get me through to the 17th and 18th.

My only complaint so far is that Maggie Gyllenhall(sp?) has taken over Katie Holmes' character. She may be a better actress but the roll can't be big enough to make a difference. It's basically a bit part roll no? I know alot of peole complained about Katie's acting in BB but really it didn't hurt the film one way or another in my opinion. I thought she was fine. PLus she's a lot nicer to look at in my opinion.
actually, i didn't bother seeing batman begins because of katie holmes. stupid reason, i know, but i kind of avoid her movies. when i saw that maggie was in this one i was really happy. and i only saw batman begins a few days ago so i could get some continuity on the story. if it wasn't for heath in this movie i would watch it just because it has maggie in it.

i liked it more then any superhero movie i've seen. and it's a great action movie. i liked how it was shot, the fact that it has a certain darkness to it. it's different in a good way. it's more real and less cartoons (if that makes any sense 
). and you can see that it builds up to something bigger (come tdk 
). but, in all honesty, i am sorry i didn't see it at the cinema when it was out.

I liked Katie Holmes in it. I think she's a good actress. Slightly OT, I saw "Go" a few weeks ago & couldn't get over how young she looked in that. Time goes by fast I imagine. Anyway, I thought she was good & played the role pretty well. The actor (Sandman or whatever) was horrible.

Here's one thing: talking out of the side of her mouth. That is not acting. It's pretty pathetic coming from a professional. As for hard to take seriously, it's hard for me to take a person seriously that looks like a 14 year old playing the role of an assistant District Attorney. I didn't buy her in that role at all the entire movie. Bale's Batman voice was annoying at times, but when it worked, it REALLY worked and was perfect (the scene where he hangs Flass upside down in the rain and interrogates him is great).
