I would think DJ is very realistic about his current status. He's in and while he's in he'll push his own business concerns as hard as he can. If he gets a few tunes on the next album he'll cream more revenue from that.
When the GNR train either stops or throws him off he'll move to the next project.
It makes no sense for him to slate anybody as he's probably not rich or established enough in the rock biz to be doing so.
