once again I don´t understand the Weezer hate. I completely understand if they aren´t someone´s cup of tea but what about them causes you guys to hate them and label them a "terrible fucking band"? Josh Freese must think they´re ok as he is their drummer these days 
I honestly don´t know how anyone can watch(or at least listen cause the footage is dark) these videos and say Weezer is a terrible fucking band. If this is a terrible fucking band then I know nothing about music.

Fact is, Weezer have a lot more in common with hard rock bands than the alternative bands they came up with.
They have kickass stuff that I bet a lot of you haven't heard. We Are All on Drugs is one of my favorites of the 2000s.
I would have loved to have seen those Weezer/GNR shows. I guess Axl handpicks terrible gay bands to associate with.

Absolutely. I mean my god how any rock music fan can sit there and say the two videos I posted suck and the band performing is a terrible fucking band is beyond me. I mean what would the reaction to those videos be if the band name wasnt known? I´m with you 100% bigbri. How anyone can sit there and praise something like This I Love then say The Good Life sucks.... I just scratch my head at that.
I don't like any music by Weezer. Period. Sorry.

anyway jsut dont like them...maybe they have fantastic shemisty and kick alot of ass...but to me its just bad tunes, i know alot of people who are big weezer fans...i just dont get the love...you know who i would equate Weeaer to? the presidents of the usa, another gay-ass band

If you equate Weezer to POSUA, then you really don't know enough about either, sorry.
Weezer is just solid rock n roll. And you can't find that nowadays. A band like Weezer should be embraced, not ridiculed. They do the basics: drums, bass, guitar, vocals--that's it. No nu metal schtick, no emo whining, no cock rock cliches. Verse, chorus, verse, hooks so big they could catch whales.
Seriously, the Weezer hate is totally from left field. I've seen less hate for Nickelback on this board and more love for Bon Fucking Jovi. Wow, I'm shocked at some of you. Especially those I consider rock fans.
