It's definitely the latter.
He is WAY too much of a legend in his own mind, and very much a self-absorbed egotistical douche.
The ONE thing I will give Nikki credit for, is unlike the very similar Sebastian Bach, Nikki is a very smart businessman and very smart as to what rock is and where it's going.
But he overrates himself.
