Re: Sturgis, South Dakota, USA (Rock 'N Rev Festival)
I'ver been to Sturgis. Don't plan on showing up there if you're an idiot. This is a biker crowd and biker things will be going on. It won't be your normal show.
Simply put, no one will have a problem kicking the shit out of you and there's a hell of alot of bikers there who will back "their" guy up over some outsider.

randall, what do u think the crowd's reaction'll be 2 nu-Guns?
Re: Sturgis, South Dakota, USA (Rock 'N Rev Festival)
the scariest concert i've ever been to was Pantera at the Palace of Auburn Hills in 97ish....skin heads everywhere...nothing like being literally on the edge of a skinhead moshpit .... makes you feel alive one elbow to the ribs and that would've been it

It's funny reading the posts about this concert and knowing the crowds that will go to the Oz V8 Supercar date in December also, both seem like they have the potential to end in tears.
Two one off "events" that could both have an "interesting dynamic" in the crowd!

It will be interesting to see what kinda of a set is put together for both this gig and the Aussie V8 gig. I don't imagine something like "This I Love" would go over too well with these types of crowds...

They're probably gonna get heckled. There will be screams of "where's Slash?" In the end, it'll be okay because Axl always plays 90% of AFD, which will work to this crowd.
