The reason Al Gore has vanished is there's no money to be made on this oil disaster. Gore is an opportunist.

Unlike promoting global warming, which sells books, movies, T-shirts, speaking engagements etc.

It was all an opportunistic, money-making ploy. And TONS of zombie capitalist consumers fell for it.

Global warming is nature. Not man. Check and mate, that's all folks.

As BP'™s oil disaster continues to ravage the Gulf Coast, the company is ramping up its public relations and legal operations to try to salvage its reputation and protect itself from lawsuits. Now, ABC News is reporting that one such tactic BP is using is purchasing search items that have the word 'oil  in them on various search engines to ensure that the first results that appear link directly to BP'™s official website...

Interesting. M.I.A. recently talked about the power of search engines and how they are gonna pretty much control everything, and this BP incident sure leans in that direction. Her new album title is an ungoogable search term.

Where the fuck is Al Gore during all this??

Like Axlin08 said, he's a fraud. There has to be a ton of cash on the table for Gore to fake interest in the issue. Same with all the other celebs who are supposedly living for that cause. When the shit hits the fan and its time for action and not check cashing, they're nowhere to be found. Besides, anyone that tells normal people not to fill up their gas tank while flying all over the world can go choke on their own fumes.

Pasnow, marijuana is getting a few steps closer to legalization here in CA, but its pointless because the Feds will intervene when it reaches that point. When I was younger I was a huge advocate of the issue, but I know that it's just pie in the sky.

They can make fuel out of marijuana and have been able to do so for decades, but I don't think the marijuana lobby is very strong in Washington.

WTF? So hurry up and light up quick, so you don't get arrested?

WOW... that reminds me of the American law, that you must inform a cop that you are invoking your right to remain silent. So you break your silence, to tell them you're gonna remain silent.

That's not a law, it's a statute. Id est, corporate policy. Huge difference.

Don't let them dupe you. Just keep your mouth shut, at all cost.

Gore worked on this endeavor for decades before making any money, so I can't accept that argument.
