Also, James I know you're disappointed on the news, but I can't imagine they'll load up on the old stuff. Especially at a festival, typically 40 minute sets however I imagine they'd headline & myb get an hour+. So I'd expect myb 2 old, unpopular songs.
Also, are they festival touring, or just Lollapalooza. If they tour they'll probably change the old songs they play, rotate them in & out. I'm sure part of this is just PR, so they don't respond "No, we're only going to play hits."
They have yet to announce any tour plans after Lolla.
I've heard rumor there will be more Seattle shows before that, but I have no idea how credible that is as I haven't heard it from anyone I personally know or trust.

Not playing Black Hole Sun took balls, and I applaud that. However, at a festival containing 50-100 thousand people, you MUST play that tune. I'd be walking to the parking lot while its performed, but you gotta play it.
Deep cuts being performed is great. Just rotate which cuts are being played from different albums.
Example...
First show: No Wrong, No Right, Gun, Full On Kevin's Mom, Mind Riot, Fresh Tendrils, Switch Opens
Second show: Nothing To Say, FOPP, Big Dumb Sex, Room A Thousand Years Wide, Head Down, Overfloater
A trip back to the 80s isn't gonna cut the mustard.....
