Re: If its the same old set list will you go??
Why would I pay for the exact same show I saw 3 years ago.
Yes. Why would I eat today? I ate food 3 years ago.
Cause if you don't eat you'll die. Don't believe me? Try it. And I don't think you'll die cause you don't go to a GNR concert. That was a lame example man! Seriously.

Re: If its the same old set list will you go??
I wish he'd do a big night where he would play all the hits, follwed up by a club night the next night in the same city where he'd do the CD album in full plus whatever songs didn't make it (OMG, SW etc) plus any other weird and wonderful covers they have messed around with over the last ten years.
Then the die hards get Axl up close playing the album with no fuss about the AFD hits which I am so fed up with at this stage...
Re: If its the same old set list will you go??
I saw GNR in 2006. It's a shit load of time ago. I've heard them live ONCE. I'd jump at the oppertunity to just see the band play the songs I love ANY DAY. Whatever they play.
My preferences are one thing, I prefer Chinese stuff and I want this and that, but first of all I just wanna hear the fucking music.

God I hope you're kidding.
You're smarter than that absolutely ridiculous analogy.
Karma! Of all the stupid things I've heard this takes the cake.

Not as lame as "I'm not going because I've heard the songs before".
I can't relate to that. Maybe if I saw GNR like 15 times in a year.
Seriously man. Comparing Not going to see GNR to not eating. Yeah making sure my family eats before I see a rerun of Axl06 is pretty much set in stone. I seriously hope you never have kids man!

^^
Even Axl forgets that, or doesn't care about the kid-factor.
I can't tell you how many people had to leave the shows I was at either before GN'R took the stage, or only a few songs in. They thought they were coming to see a rock show, that would be done and over by no later than 11:30p... maybe midnight, tops if they ran long. They've got a babysitter watching the kids, and work tomorrow, so they need to get home. GN'R didn't even take the stage 'til midnight.
Not only do MANY of these fans not get those circumstances, but Axl himself doesn't get it as he nears 50 years old. Or he doesn't care. Latter is probably true.
