Re: 1st listen to CD in awhile...
"I think the songs already exist we just need to get out of the way and let them write themselves"
That's what Bono once said in reference to tinkering with songs too much. I have no doubt Axl had the ideas for some great songs but his OCD ruined the album. I like CD, Better, Sorry and if I'm in the mood If the World but I could care less if I ever heard them again. I have actually grown to really like Prostitute though over the last year. I still don't own an official copy of Chinese Democracy and time hasn't changed my opinion that it's not a real Gn'R record. My Gn'R discography is complete without it. It's just not that good of an album in my opinion.

Prostitute and IRS grew on me a lot since the album came out. I agree with you about IRS having shit lyrics, but the raw emotion of the last few verses comes through for me.
Never understood the Riad hate. I think its fantastic.
It's a shame that TWAT is too long to be a single. Great song.

Apart from the second chorus of "Shackler's Revenge" and the start of "Scraped", I think's it a great album...

Since this album came out last November, that's the first i've heard/seen someone other than myself cranking the album.
Did you find out what his user name is and which forum he posts on?
