I thought Axl once mentioned (maybe the chats) that he didn't like charging fans for meet and greet. He didn't feel it was right or something.

He was referring to Slash/Velvet Revolver.

I don't think he really likes that guy.

Just saw this add for Canada and the add said "go to www.gunsnroses.com" and I went. Sadly, there was nothing there

Dude sold it out in winter  for Motley Crue, Tragically Hip was in Red Deer in January and the place sold out instantly.  Where you from originally? 16 I drive back and forth between Calgary and Red Deer all winter long dude. It's not the suicide mission you're making it out to be and the -40 degrees stuff normally happens in February 14  Trust me on this one man. Red Deer has a surrounding area of like 150 000 people. The drive from either Edmonton or Calgary isn't that bad.  Red Deer would make perfect sense.  Plus if it were such a  risk nobody from Red Deer would ever venture into Calgary or Edmonton in the winter for concerts let alone on a  daily basis.

Is that Celsius or Fahrenheit we're dealing with here?

Because if this is -40 celsius, Canads is fucking shit cold! And I'm from Scandinavia!

It can be very cold in Canada man.  -40 celcius is not common but does happen during winter time.
