Re: GnREvolution Arcade Madness - Round 1, Battle 6
Gauntlet and it shouldn't even be close. Was innovative for its time. Multiplayers don't exist without this. It was the first arcade game to allow four players at once, and all four slots were usually full. Strangers would unite just to play this game. Quarters would be stacked up by various people to save their place in line.
The wrong Metroid was nominated anyways.

Super Metroid easily superior in every way, ye all on crack.
Re: GnREvolution Arcade Madness - Round 1, Battle 6
Shit. I loved the old-school Metroids and immediately voted in that direction. Though James made an excellent argument about multiplayer, that almost makes me want to change my vote.
I guess the question here is whether to vote simply based on which I enjoyed more, or on which game is better in terms of historical importance...
Re: GnREvolution Arcade Madness - Round 1, Battle 6
In "GnREvolution Arcade Madness" fire represents death, when when you run out of life, it's game over, when the name is read, the decision is final and they must leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll go tally the votes.
Gauntlet, bring me your torch.
