You know it's maybe just me, but in spite of how he's booked I get that "the shit just got real feeling" when Lesnar's music hits.

You have a legitimate bad ass who can actually work and is one of the few draws they have and you have him wrestle Triple H 3 times and Big Show. Sure he's not the most loved, but I don't think he's that hated even by the hardcores.

That's the feeling through the whole crowd when his music hits. It's undeniable. Brock is legit. He doesn't get boring chants, or you can't wrestle chants. The dude is a great wrestler. Worth the money, imo. I just don't like the way he's booked. At the same time, it's got to be hard making long term plans with the work schedule he has.

The biggest problem with WWE is HHH. I did like the "oh, burying Daniel Bryan was our worked plan all along!" crap they tried to push after RR's disaster. And it's now tainted Batista. I don't see him recovering. And tbh, his return promo was fucking terrible. They're going to try and push him, despite what the fans want. DB will only get more popular the more they shit on him...And no, it's not an act. HHH doesn't want him as a main eventer. It's the whole reason he brought Batista back, and it blew up in his face.

Sting/HBK would have been awesome 10 years ago.

I think it would still be awesome. HBK could carry Sting in spots, but he still has enough left to put on a helluva show. I watched his last TNA match, he didn't have a good opponent. And I can't believe the bald spot and wrestling with a T-shirt. But putting him in the ring with HBK would take him to another level.

That was pretty hilarious.  Orton comes out to zero reaction at all.  He starts his usual boring monotone promo and is naturally putting the crowd to sleep.  But wait, Batista comes out to an even worse (non) reaction from the crowd.  And he gives another shitty promo.  Thank god, Lesnar and Heyman came out and injected some energy to that segment.

Not sure HBK would unretire for Sting but it's possible I guess.  Sting should use the Scorpion death drop as a finisher though since his knees can't take the pounding when he tries to apply the Scorpion death lock.  I think there are enough good wrestlers thtat can carry Sting in a match.  I would also think that Sting would actually get in shape and work his ass off not to embarass himself in the ring.

Also, the rumors are that he has signed a WWE Legends contract and will make an appearance (but not wrestle a match) at Wrestlemania 30.

Also, it's being reported that CM Punk basically just left and went home and now he has been taken off all house shows for the next few weeks.  If he doesn't show for Mania, I wonder who they will stick in his spot for that match with HHH.

WWE News: C.M. Punk leaves WWE and is removed from advertising, Daniel Bryan's new WrestleMania 30 match
Jan 29, 2014 - 01:22 AM

By Jason Powell

C.M. Punk has been pulled from advertising for future events on the WWE website's live events page. Prowrestling.net has confirmed a WrestlingObserver.com report that Punk told Vince McMahon on Monday that he was going home and then did so, which led the company removing Punk from their advertising. WWE did not respond to a request for comment before this story was published. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Ken]

Powell's POV: Punk was slated to face Triple H at WrestleMania 30. I mentioned earlier today on the PWTorch Livecast that it seemed like the plan changed to Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H. I have since been told that Bryan vs. Hunter is indeed the new plan for WrestleMania 30. At this point, it is unclear whether the shift to Bryan vs. Triple H had something to do with Punk's decision to go home or if that change was made as a result of Punk leaving.

WWE NEWS: Report - C.M. Punk leaves WWE
Jan 29, 2014 - 12:55:11 AM

By James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor

WWE star C.M. Punk walked off the job on Monday, reports the Wrestling Observer.

Punk reportedly told Vince McMahon that he was leaving and he is now off upcoming shows. At this point, it does not appear to be storyline-related.

A chain of events began last week:

- Thursday: C.M. Punk granted his annual in-depth interview to MMA reporter Ariel Helwani at his home in Chicago. Punk talked about not being sure if he will stay with WWE when his contract expires this summer. He also joked - in a revealing way - that he wouldn't be a fan of wrestling right now if not for himself being on WWE TV.

- Friday: Punk appeared at a Comic Con event in Portland, Oregon.

- Saturday: Punk attended the UFC on Fox event in Chicago. This followed Punk requesting the weekend off from house shows.

- Sunday: Punk went nearly 50 minutes in the Royal Rumble match, was eliminated by Kane in the Final Four, and WWE appeared to be setting up a Punk vs. Kane mini-feud coming out of the Rumble to keep Punk's feud with Triple H going.

- Monday: Punk was left off Raw following a series of re-writes. Punk reportedly told Vince McMahon that he was leaving to go home.

- Tuesday: Punk was the top star advertised for this week's Smackdown TV taping, but he did not appear in front of the live crowd after going home on Monday.

Caldwell's Analysis: I go back to Thursday when looking at this story. Listening to Punk talk for 30 minutes, there seemed to be a lot of things boiling just beneath the surface. Some things slipped out like Punk joking off-hand that he wouldn't be a fan of wrestling right now if not for himself. Other things he caught himself on before saying too much. So, it will be interesting to see what happens after Royal Rumble Week and everyone cools off. After all, Punk said he's late-night "text buddies" with McMahon, so perhaps they'll hash this out at 4:00 in the morning one day.

I think it's a semi work. Honestly why would Punk want to work with Triple H, very few people ever come out of a feud there any better. Still think though Punk will be back, there was the Batista rumour on a random site. It makes sense too though, as Punk was originally rumoured to be wrestling Batista at Summer Slam a month ago obviously few months after his contract expires.

Reason I posted the ratting ^^^. It's shocking how bad Orton does and still get's pushed. I don't get the logic.
