I'm surprised Slippery when wet made it this far though.  I mean personally it is one of my favorite albums of the 80's.  Easily in my top 5.  But still surprised to see it still there.

Not gonna be a popular choice, but ...And Justice For All.

I didn't get into Metallica until the Black Album and while I respect their older stuff I got into the other albums a lot earlier than I discovered them.  So even though Pump and Dr. Feelgood may not actually be better albums, I would listen to those albums first.

Then pick Master of Puppets. If we're offing Metallica albums in an 80's contest, Puppets should go before Justice.

I guess I could make that switch.  Regardless, the 2 Metallica albums and Blizzrd of Ozz are the next 3 on my radar for votes.

I just think Justice is where they really exploded on the scene, and everyone took notice. Plus songs like One & Sanitarium, clinch it being better than Puppets. The only thing is, like James had said, if '1' Metallica album has to go on to the final rounds, i'd prefer it be Justice. But people can vote however they want.

As for Ozzy, normally I would defend the man, but in this case... i'm willing to make an exception. I think Blizzard of Ozz is more 70's in styling anyways, and really when I think of memorable Ozzy tunes from the 80's, for some reason I focus solely on Bark At The Moon, Ultimate Sin & No Rest For The Wicked... never Bizzard or Diary. Strange.
