Re: 2009 Fantasy Football
PaSnow, I wouldn't draft Lynch even if it he wasn't suspended - he's a great talent but Fred Jackson is bound to get a lot of carries, he played extremely well last year. But it's better than picking Lee Evans, who is the best receiver in the league to never touch the football. I have friends that agree with me that the Bills should pay their co-ordinator by commission dependent on how many touches Evans gets.
Thanks, I agree a 4th was prob too high, but he's too valuable to cut too. So I'm stuck. My backups are decent in Magahee & Norwood. Not great but not awful for 3rd & 4th stringers, so I'm kinda deep in case of injury hopefully.
Evans could have a good year, if TO does well. AFC East will be a good division, as I think the Jets will be improved. I think the Dolphins will be the odd team out there & another one of the NFL's make the playoffs & you're up & coming one year, miss the playoffs completely the next. I'm still unsure if the Falcons are the same or not, but I took a shot on Matt Ryan. I picked QB low so he was pretty much the best avail anyway.
Re: 2009 Fantasy Football
Neemo has the highest projected point total for week 1, if that means anything.
Looks like people aren't expecting much from Joseph Addai this year, who I drafted as my 2nd RB. I've done 3 drafts since ours and he's getting picked WAY after I drafted him. What is it, the injuries? The guy was a top 10 RB a few years ago and he's still young. Luckily I got his backup just in case, Donald Brown. I also have Julius Jones in the wings. Oh well. I have Kurt Warner on EVERY one of my 4 teams, so he's destined to have a shitty year.
Re: 2009 Fantasy Football
Injuries and i think the Colts are grooming a rookie to share the RB duties (so they can reduce Addai's carries to try and keep him healthy)
really i'm projected highest wk 1? wow... i'm excited to get this underway in any case
Wait neemo, did you make any changes in your starting lineup? Your no longer #1 projected. I swear I checked last night and you were.
Re: 2009 Fantasy Football
Sorry if I got your hopes up there Neemo, I don't know what I was looking at. Must've misread it, your team is projected to get 87.94 points, which is still pretty solid. PaSnow is projected to get 92.73 points. CrashDiet, 91.32 points, and CC's Gold Medals, 90.67. Those are the only teams over 90 points.
Demolition (buzzsaw) needs to pick up a kicker.

Re: 2009 Fantasy Football
kickers are overrated. I am leaving the country for 10 days though, so maybe I should grab one today...
I saw you made the move, good work before taking off.
Kickers are annoying, I wish we could just do without them. Sometimes you'll get a measely 3 points from them. Then you'll go up against Rob Bironas, who gets 6 field goals for 18+ points depending on length. I actually noticed kickers got WAY too many points in our league last year so I brought them back down to earth, the way it should be.
