Re: Best album of the 90s- Nominations
Not even because I like some of them a bunch just based off how huge they were.
I agree. I hate Dookie, but it deserves a spot because it was so huge and was an influential album for its time. Same with Pumpkins, and I loathe that record. I may edit a couple of my picks to try and help push those two in. Alanis really deserves a spot, and hopefully a few people jump in to this thread before its over. I was surprised by so few people including Jagged Little Pill. That album could possibly win it all yet might not even make it.
Achtung has to make it, even if we have to cheat. Even people who hate U2 acknowledge the brilliance of that record.
Its gonna be a solid elimination no matter what though. If the poll choices went further than twenty, I'd just include all those.
Here's the Top 5 albums from the year I was 8:
5) Prince-1999
4) Hall & Oates-H2O
3) Police-Synchronicity
2) Men At Work-Business As Usual
1) Michael Jackson-Thiller
In the words of Eddie Money....
I wanna go back, and do it all over but I cant go back I know....
