Out Of Exile - Repetitive, Generic, Rock

Really?

REALLY??

Is this one of those albums you listened to once, wasn't impressed, so you tossed it? If so, you should give it another spin, at least for shits and giggles. Not nearly as good as their debut, but it has some solid tracks. In my opinion, the song Yesterday to Tomorrow blows away Chinese Democracy. The track literally gives me chills.

Audioslave's self-titled. I prefer Out of Exile, to be honest.

Wow. That's a shocker. I normally agree with around 90% of your musical opinions, but that one is out of left field.

Only killer tracks that can stand next to that debut are Yesterday to Tomorrow, Be Yourself, and maybe Dandelion.

The self-titled wears on me, and I get sick of it before it's done. Just picking up one song and listening to it, they're all really good and a couple are great, but one after another they get kind of irritating (a problem on Rage Against the Machine's later 2 albums). Out of Exile works not only on the level of songs but as an album, and I listen to it a lot more.

There are a bunch of albums up there right now on the same level though as S/T. I could've picked 4 others that I like or dislike the same amount.
