Still GameJust thinking about Still Game makes me laugh, I love it! Porridge/Alan Partridge are both great too, just a shame they only made a few series of each.
US TV Series get 24 episodes give or take per series, always wondered why the UK only do 6-8 per series 3 seasons of Porridge mean theres only 18 episodes total, with a few Xmas specials etc added. Nowhere near enough
Porridge never gets old though, its repeated on UK Gold or something all the time and you can still sit and watch it without feeling that you've seen it all before. The Scottish guy came from Greenock, it was always wierd seeing this 70's show featuring a black guy with this deep gruff scots accent
Still Game was fantastic, it started going downhill after series 3 when it started getting shown in England and they toned down the "Scottish-ness" so those dafty's could understand what was being said.

Not sure if you'd count HBO shows as sitcoms, but I like "Curb Your Enthusiasm". It stars co-creator of Seinfeld, Larry David, and a lot of the story lines are based on Seinfeld episodes. Some Seinfeld stars guest star on the show on occasion too, the episodes are done in a more adult manner than Seinfeld, but they're quite similar.
I also never really got into it but I've heard a lot of praise for "The Larry Sanders Show" starring Garry Shandling, also on HBO.
As for traditional sitcoms, I really don't watch any these days outside of "The Office". Some favorties from the past
Seinfeld
The Wonder Years
Cheers
Family Ties
The Cosby Show
Home Improvement
Golden Girls
Perfect Strangers
Who's the Boss
Roseanne
Fresh Prince of Bel Aire
Bosom Buddies
Wings
Married With Children
Full House

Jerry Seinfeld was never the reason why Seinfeld was great, Larry David was. Curb Your Enthusiasm just cements that for me.
The "Car Pool Lane" episode of Curb might be my favorite episode of a sitcom ever.

CYE doesn't get shown enough over here, some of the moral dilemmas Larry finds himself in are fanastic.
"I just complimented him on the size of his kids penis"
"Why would you do that Larry?"
"...I took a risk"
