Thanks for posting. I would guess some of this (if true;) has to do with tour arrangements. Axl probably wanted a big stadium tour, whereas no promoters would support or invest in it. All he could book was either small venues or festival shows. Whereas Axl had an "all-or-nothing" approach to it. Either get us headlining arena shows, or Guns N Roses does not tour and your gone.
Just my guess.

GNR can fill any arena anytime of the year. Axl Rose and [names here please] cannot. When will he realise HE isnt GNR.. never. About that ticket price thread. I would only pay 4 figures for a reunion. I would go upto £99.99 for this GNR

I like Axls music, not all, but most of it, and I`d pay that much to see any other band I liked. Just wish he`d drop the name and stop pretending. Its almost like using the GNR name is making himself seem bigger than he is, sort of like delusions of grandeur.
Im tight and money is tighter so, sorry Axl thats all ya get. I have en empty CC on stanby tho if you are willing to get over it.

I thought the name deal was dead and buried by now. For me anyway. It's a discussion that gives me nightmares of annoyances.
I think the name discussion is more relevant now than ever. It's at a point now where Axl has completely fucking trashed the name. The name is entering new teritory as a pop culture joke. Legacy's can only stand so much mockery. I honestly think for the first time ever an overwhelmingly HUGE majority of fans, casual and diehard, would seriously prefer he drop the name. Not only is he making himself look more and more like an ass each day he's devalueing the legacy and I dont mean in terms of dollars. I mean in terms of a new generation thinking Gn'R was cool. In fact what hes doen has made fans like me hesitant to even wear old Gn'R shirts. I knwo I'm not the only one who feels this way. Axl is a fucking egomaniac who is in absolute denial if he thinks he should be headlining arenas. If he's not mentally retarded he's using the logic that the name Guns N' Roses should be headlining arenas not his mock up fake ass brand of Guns n' Roses. That or he is in fact mentally retarded in thinking his vision can and should be headlining arenas and stadiums. What a meathead! he needs a bitch slap and needs it now. He needs to grow a set, man up and stop living his life based on Terri Clarks song Poor Poor Pitiful Me. He's an ass plain and simple. Seriously one of the biggest douchebags in music history.
