I like both films, but there's no way Willy Wonka had the impact on the world of movies that TCM did.  TCM changed the way people looked at movies.

In my part of the world "Willy Wonka" is one of the most famous children classics of all time, that gets shown every year.

"Texas Chainsaw Massacre" on the other hand is a cult classic...

By the way if it goes to a tie-break "Willy Wonka" wins on the critics votes.

I voted Wonka, haven't seen TCM.

You should have downloaded it before voting off

Although these are mostly mainstream movies, it's quite clear most of the people voting haven't seen both movies each time. The ratio is way higher than in the "Music Madness" series.

I've seen both films many times and I truly enjoy Willy Wonka more.

I'm talking about in all these polls, not just this one.

I was the first one to vote for "Willy Wonka" by the way.

Oh please. Cult or no cult, its one of the most influential films in the horror industry and was made during the golden age of horror. While Willy Wonka is great when you're 7, you cant say that Wonka was influential.

TCM has scared the shit out of people for decades. All Wonka does is make you want to eat some Gobstoppers.

When I logged in this morning and was shocked that TCM was losing, I was hoping for an intervention from God. Now I don't really care. Its obvious that the serious films in this thing(Private Ryan, TCM, Apocalypse Now,etc.) aren't getting anywhere near or past the second round, so lets just kill the wheat now and have a chaff elimination. 14

Like I mentioned in my last post, had I known it was gonna turn out like this, I would have nominated two different films that cater to the G/PG crowd.
