I find it hilarious that Ron goes out and tells nothing and then some people here become optimistic and see it as a good sign. OMG, OMG, it's pure nothing. Nothing has a good chance in Axl Rose's land to happen until it happens. Will you guys ever learn?

When the new tour starts, Axl will txt BBF 10mins earlier

Earlier? That's not Axl's style. He'll do it in the following day, if the weather is fine.

Well here's the thing.  Nothing is said period about anything and that's bad.  No appearances, nothing.  Ron goes on a show and says something unrelated to Chinese Democracy, but as the lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses, and that's bad.  IF he said something about Chinese Democracy, I'm sure many would say he said the WRONG things (ie. didn't mention a tour).  If he mentioned a tour, people would complain, "ah they're just gonna play all of AFD again anyway".

It may not be a reason to get excited (and I agree it's not), but for some people there will never be a time to get excited about this band, so why even try?

Or mabye they are getting his face out there as the lead guitarist of GN'R in an attempt to familiarise him and its the beginnings of a new push to work the album.... I have a good feeling about June for GN'R juicys.

I would love for you to be right!

Also, anyone got a link to any vid of this?

I can't find a link anywhere.  I have it here at home on my DVR.  I'm sure it'll hit the net eventually.  I checked the Hannity page on Fox News and they have Monday nights "panel" on there, but not Tuesday yet.

I don't know or think it's a conscious effort to "make" Ron familiar to the public as the lead guitarist of GNR.  But he is gaining some exposure on his own here.  Good for him.  He seems comfortable and capable of handling such a role.  Of course he's got a LONG way to go to reach the level of some other guitarists.  And obviously a little assistance would sure help.  But I'd say Ron has become at least the 3rd most known member of the band to date, sorry Dizzy Reed.  Again, not that that's saying a lot, but that's an accomplishment for only being in the band for 3 years.

I even forget Dizzy exists sometimes, I would say Ron and Tommy are the guys next in line behind Axl for being known members of GN'R.

That's true. I think Axl should work really hard to win back a lot his old fans, including me. Or to get some new ones. But he doesn't work for me or us or anyone, so it's not somthing to happen in the foreseeable future.

Axl could easily win me over if they just were active.

it is a proven fact, that when Axl is speaking and GNR are active, the GNR community are damn near 100 percent behind him and the band.

Only when we have these periods of silence and nothing, do people start getting negative.

BBF and Hannity seem like an odd match, but good for him.
